Over the years we have partnered with several well renowned institutions to qualify our staff and ensure our operations are safe and reliable.

Our consistent pursue for excellence has allowed us to reduce the near miss incidents to e very low numbers, reflecting directly on the quality of the products we deliver to our customers.

Qualmark Silver Award

What is Qualmark?
Qualmark is New Zealand tourism’s official quality assurance organisation, providing a trusted guide to quality travel experiences in New Zealand.

Why Qualmark?
There is plenty of evidence to support the idea that business planning, good management and solid processes result in a more consistent product. Business planning is at the heart of what we do to help us to deliver a better quality and more polished experience. By looking at our business with these things in mind, Qualmark has helped strengthen the experiences we offer. It has helped us to prioritize investments, identify where improvements can be made and keeps us up to date with industry development and visitor expectation.

The Criteria
The Sustainable Tourism Business Award criteria covers four areas: Economic, Social & People, Environment and Culture, Health, Safety and Wellness.
In 20219 we got our Silver award and are now working towards the Gold award.

 AdventureMark

AdventureMark™ is New Zealand’s largest adventure certification body. We work with over 200 operators providing adventure activities audit and certification services, both here in New Zealand and worldwide. Our safety certifications are Internationally recognised as meeting the highest levels of safety in adventure activities.

AdventureMark™ is a JAS-ANZ accredited and WorkSafe NZ approved Certification Body for its Blue AdventureMark™ Certification under the New Zealand Adventure Activities Certification Scheme. AdventureMark auditors are unique in that most have spent the majority of their careers running operations and managing risk in remote, high-risk environments. They are highly professional, practical, and understand the unique challenges associated with delivering adventure activities safely.

Our aim is to help ensure that all visitors undertaking adventure tourism and activities in New Zealand do so safely, as well as providing adventure certification, adventure tourism audits, outdoor education safety audits, and event safety certification.

 Skills Active

We’re a specialist non-profit ITO, set up by industry, for industry. We are funded by the Tertiary Education Commission and spend our time  working in partnership with the sport, recreation and performing arts industries, to help organisations and their people strengthen their skills and capabilities, step up their quality of delivery and flourish as individuals and industry.
